Weatherbys have today announced the launch of a new brand – Weatherbys Digital Solutions - to focus on the development of digital systems that improve the efficiency, transparency and accuracy of racing and stud book management.

Drawing on their expertise in delivering proprietary digital platforms, the systems utilise rich cloud applications to help clients manage a wealth of data, combined with powerful workflows and automation which seamlessly manage stakeholder and administration activities, focusing on combating inaccuracies and duplicated data and accelerating distribution of data to partners across the world.

The Racing Administration systems provide a full suite of functionality to allow racing authorities to administer their race programmes from start to finish, streamlining and automating many of the tasks that would historically have been performed manually, such as pre-race and raceday operations.

Alongside the Racing Administration systems live the Studbook systems that provide for integrity of data and registration compliance in line with International Stud Book Committee standards.

Used to record and track the lineage of animal breeds, the digital stud book has applications beyond the world of the thoroughbred in terms of its ability to preserve and improve the quality of animal breeds, ensuring their stability for future generations.

A key product in all of this is the Weatherbys ePassport, which already plays a crucial role in horse management, ensuring that the health, welfare, and traceability of thoroughbreds in the UK and Ireland is continually monitored. Available to provide for the wellbeing of horses in and out of competition, this innovative product plays a pivotal role in the digital transformation of racing authorities.
